FLS Group, operating across 15 countries with a global team of over 500 professionals, has begun the rollout of a 100% electric truck fleet across Thailand, marking a significant step in the company’s transition toward lower-emission logistics and more sustainable transport operations nationwide.
The rollout comes after the expansion of the company’s EV charging network across Bangkok and the Central region, as well as the North, Northeast, and East, supporting both high-frequency urban routes and longer regional corridors.
Translating Thailand’s Electrification Ambitions into Everyday Logistics Operations
As Thailand advances its national ambitions to reduce transport emissions and strengthen its EV ecosystem, freight operators are increasingly expected to translate policy direction into practical, everyday operations. FLS Group’s electric rollout positions electrification not as a pilot initiative, but as an operational reality embedded into daily logistics.
A Purpose-Built Electric Fleet Designed for Diverse Logistics Requirements
To support this transition across real-world logistics scenarios, the rollout includes four specialized vehicle types designed to meet diverse operational requirements across Thailand’s supply chains:
Electric Ambient Trucks
Built for high-frequency dry-freight routes, Electric Ambient Trucks combine the reliability of traditional transport with zero-emission performance. Designed for quiet, efficient operation in dense urban environments, they help reduce both air and noise pollution while keeping everyday operations running smoothly.
Electric Reefer Trucks
Electric Reefer Trucks feature fully electric cooling systems powered by the same energy source as the vehicle itself, eliminating diesel auxiliary engines. Deployed by FLS Group through its partnership with TOPS, they provide precise temperature control for sensitive cargo while reducing environmental impact in cold-chain transport.
Electric Car Carriers
Engineered for large-scale automotive logistics, Electric Car Carriers deliver heavy-duty capacity with the quiet precision of electric power, supporting cleaner supply chains from factory to final delivery.
Electric Prime Movers
Reimagined for long-haul transport, Electric Prime Movers operate across Thailand’s Northern and Northeastern routes. By replacing diesel power with fully electric systems, they demonstrate how long-distance freight can maintain performance and reliability while contributing to lower-emission transport corridors.
From Aspiration to Responsibility
FLS Group describes sustainability not as a future goal, but as an operational responsibility, one that requires questioning established practices and acting before change becomes unavoidable.
“Today’s supply chain has evolved past careful planning. It now requires responsible investment and solutions that can perform at scale,” Marcel added. “That means choosing technologies that are proven in daily use, scalable across routes, and aligned with long-term operational needs.”
With the rollout underway, FLS Group aims to make electrification a practical, scalable part of everyday logistics, supporting clients, partners, and communities while contributing to Thailand’s broader shift toward cleaner, more resilient transport systems.
